Title: Hand-held Device Announced

(Florence, SC) SATIS, Inc. is pleased to announce the completion of an agreement with Moritex USA to provide sales and marketing for a new handheld computer system.  Designed to accept a customer's PCI card, the pen-based unit is especially well-suited for the medical and scientific digital imaging markets as well as the legal and insurance markets.

The Excipio™ handheld computer runs MS Windows 95/98 MS DOS of UNIX operating systems.  The unit is available with VisionWare 99™ software for powerful image acquisition and archival.  With a size of only 9" x 11", Excipio can be controlled with the included pen, touch or by remote keyboard.  The display is a high-brightness AMLCD.  Storage is provided on hard disk drive and on the PCMCIA disk.  Options include wire-less LAN, infrared keyboard and mouse.   Standard is Ethernet 10BT LAN, printer port and serial port.

Availability is April1999 for production units and OEM evaluation units in March 99.
